Christening ideas? Help We don't know what to do?

After my son's christening we just had close friends and family back for a buffet and a chat. There were less than 20 people there, but everyone who mattered. That's what most people do that I know of around here... but then I've noticed since coming on here some people use it as an excuse to have a big party and get drunk. Whatever floats your boat...
