Wearing skirts during fall/winter season is trendy??

I really love all kinds of skirts and wear them a bit too often...like i barely even get to wear jeans or pants...but i can't help if i got an addiction...in the summertime i wear looong,colored gipsy skirts with flops and in the cold season(i live in France but am half American) i always go for thights,Ugg boots and ..knee-lenghts skirts...my grandma says that im freaky and that nobody wears skirts while the snow is in town...sometimes i compare my style with the other girls' who dress kinda simple like simple jeans and simple jackets...I have this pion for vintage,unique clothes and accessories that are out of the ordinary and that nobody else would have...i like stuff wore by women in the past and the baroque/haute-couture style...tho i try to combine this items with simple stuff,sometimes people look at me like im a freako,especially in the subway..i think my style is kinda close to Sarah Jessica Parker,Gwen Stefani and Beyonce's style in the Deja-Vu video
